About Photo Gallery

   In January 1999, Ukraine’s first photogallery appeared in Lviv. It was founded by Vasyl Pylypyuk – an outstanding Ukrainian photo artist, the president of the Light and Shadow publishing company, editor-in-chief of the Light and Shadow photo magazine, a participant of numerous photo exhibitions (from Moscow, 1985, to France, 1999, Morocco, 2001, and Kyiv, 2005, Croatia, 2007, Azerbaijan, 2008), the author of almost 60 photo albums, a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, a member of the management board of the National Union of Photo Artists of Ukraine, the vice-president of the World Association of Ukrainian Photographers (USA), a laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, an honoured artist of Ukraine.
